Famous movie director Billy Wilder said once: “Anyone who doesn’t believe in miracles isn’t a realist.” Life on earth consists of many wonderful moments. 4711 wants to capture the essence of these moments in fragrant pair 4711 Wunderwasser (“wonder waters”) which arrives on the market mid-April, according to Maurer & Wirtz.
NEW. UNEXPECTED. WONDERFUL.
Wonders are something very special. Wonders lie in the eye of the beholder. They allow us to step away from reality and marvel as we forget everything around us and immerse ourselves in an intense, very personal moment. Wonders are multifaceted and they are inherently individual – but what they all have in common is a sense of awe. Now, 4711 has created a fragrance that captures this sense of wonder. This new twin fragrance was designed with young people aged from 20 to 40 in mind: women and men who are open for new and unexpected experiences.
4711 WUNDERWASSER WOMEN
REVIVING. RADIANT. SENSUOUS.
The women’s fragrance captivates with the gentle transparency of lotus blossom
The fragrance opens with a refreshing, reviving note composed around energetic, zesty pomelo, Tunisian neroli and lentisque – the blossom of the pistachio tree, tempered by the gentle transparency of lotus blossom. The heart note sparkles vivaciously with the contrast of pink pepper, luscious honey and the powdery scent of iris, which gradually fades into a base that is rounded off with delicate sandalwood and a hint of vanilla cocooned in soft musk.
4711 WUNDERWASSER MEN
DYNAMIC. CHARISMATIC. ALIVE.
The men’s fragrance, inspired by the multifaceted promise of driftwood
The vibrantly fresh opening note presents a citrusy cocktail of mandarin, bergamot and lemon, paired with the lively spice of black pepper from Madagascar. In the heart note, this bold composition expresses its charismatic, rugged male personality with pure lavender, star anise, iris butter and cistus. The effervescent top and heart notes give way to a sensuously captivating base of patchouli, teak and sandalwood, traces of driftwood with a soft caress of tonka bean.
SHIMMERING. APPEALING. CLASSIC.
The bottles, which were created by the renowned designer Peter Schmidt, are a symphony of light and water, represented in the appealing combination of cool glass and multi-hued shades of blue. The women’s fragrance bottle has an appealingly soft, rounded shape and, like a drop of water, shimmers in delicate shades of blue. The men’s bottle with its swirling dark blue hues conjures up visions of the ocean’s depths. The fragrances are presented in beautifully finished boxes whose magical appearance invites one to discover the contents.
Following the launch last year of the signature fragrance for women, Eau de Lacoste, Lacoste introduces the perfect evening partner to draw out your sensual side – Eau de Lacoste Sensuelle. Modern and simple, Eau de Lacoste was designed to recreate the feeling of wearing white pure cotton on skin on a beautiful summer’s day. But what happens when day turns into night? Feminine and sensual Eau de Lacoste Sensuelle recreates the feeling of the evolution from a sunny day to a cool and refreshing evening – the spirit of Lacoste is playfully and sensually transformed into a bottle, perfect for the evening ahead. Beginning with the refreshment given by an evening breeze, the fragrance opens with sparkling, vibrant pink pepper and contrasting tart blackcurrant. As the sun begins to set, Eau de Lacoste Sensuelle evolves and the atmosphere changes: the clean elegance of Turkish rose combines with the delicate essence of sweet pea and the new and unique floralcy of Gladiolus Inflexus. After sunset, the intensity of the evening and all that it has to offer is felt. The soft sensuality of nougatine blends with the rich comfort of amber to provide the perfect fragrance.

Bond No. 9’s springtime scents are always about new beginnings. But our dewy fresh spring 2014 eau de parfum celebrates a new beginning that hasn’t even begun yet. Its name? Hudson Yards.
Young grass and the first buds decorate the city and their scents give a whole new dimension to the dynamic metropolis and the new bottle perfectly complements the existing collection, standing shoulder to shoulder with well-known editions Central Park South, Central Park West, High Line, Madison Square Park…
The new fragrances Bond No9 Hudson Yards celebrates a new beginning and in its perfume collection it maps a new location in the city that is emerging. Hudson Yards is on the western edge of Manhattan, and this area is currently quite bleak, but in the coming years, this location is planned for building the tallest tower – skyscraper higher than the Empire State Building. It is planned that this part of the city becomes an urban mini metropolis surrounded by beautiful greenery and dotted with many new shops, residential buildings, large office buildings and luxurious hotels, with numerous supermarkets and subway with extended line No7 as well as the terminal for the ferry. In honor of the beginning of construction, Bond No9 creates symbolic smell of spring that will transform the optimism of the season in the creativity that will change the look and width of New York, up till 2017, time of the anticipated completion of work and creation of a completely different modern-urban landscape of the city.
Notes: Wet Petals of Lily of the Valley, Sparkling Freesia, Pink Pepper Oil, Peony Buds, Rose Oil Bulgaria, Vibrant Lychee, Orange Flower Absolute, Iris Absolute, White Ray of Musk
The bottle had to be out-and-out futuristic—which meant that only one color would do: contemporary, near-neon, iridescent chartreuse. It shimmers too, as the glass surface is laser-etched with an overall network pattern of the Bond No. 9 circular signature token. Held up to the light, it reveals almost lace-like glimmerings of transparency. And around the neck, to remind you of the petal-like composition of the scent, rests a ripening cloth flower blossom, in matching chartreuse—amazingly like the green fantasy rose that James Joyce imagines in A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man (the highly influential novel that paved the way for the future of fiction).
Guerlain has launched a new fragrance in its l’Art & la Matière collection, called Eau de Cashmere (the third in their series of scented fabric sprays that includes Eau de Lit and Eau de Lingerie). It’s designed to be sprayed on cashmere or wool for a soft, cocooning effect, although it can be worn on skin, like any other perfume. Eau de Cashmere is unisex and is based around powdery notes.
When you wear French clothes, use French drugstore products, or smell like French eau de toilette, Febreze (even with a French accent) won’t do. But heureusement, French cosmetics brand Guerlain has created the fanciest fabric spray ever: Eau de Cashmere, a spray that can be sprayed on cashmere (or wool, if you must) to create what is described as a “soft, cocooning effect.” The multilayered clothing deodorizer contains notes of bergamot, mandarin, iris, lavender, cedar, vetiver, and musk and can also be worn on the body. Just another way that the French continue to live life better than the rest of us.
Guerlain Eau De Cashmere will be marketed in editions of 125ml.
